Puzzle Details
Hidetoshi Takeji invented and build this puzzle in 2005. It is a modification of a Megaminx.
It is a 12 colour puzzle, although he also made a six colour version before. See picture "Diamond Triacontahedron (2)" for the colour scheme. Opposite surfaces have the same colour.
The puzzle shape is not far away from a globe, but because of the extremely exactly molded pieces, it can be twisted very easily and it does not lock at all.
Because the rectangular pieces have no orientation, it may come to a parity problem with the orientation of the last center at the end of the solution process.
As his Bump Cube this puzzle comes with an Appendix CD, showing detailed pictures of the whole build process nd of course an own box.
Weight: 131g
