The GC2 was built by Tony Fisher in four variants:
Golden Cube 2 Extreme? = bandaged
Golden Cube 2 regular = unbandaged
both available in black body/golden stickers and white body/back stickers.

Tony sees the Golden Cube 2 Extreme? with black body/golden stickers as the real successor of his orginal Golden Cube, as it comes with an additional parity problem as well as bandaging, so two improvements to the puzzle concept besides the improved technical execution.
