Pillar Cube

Puzzle Details

Excerpt from Rick Mazzante's ebay auction:
"It was made from a regular Rubik's 3x3x3.
It is called a Pillar cube because the middle layer is
a little bit smaller than the top and bottom layer like a Pillar.
But this cube is unique in another way!
when this cube is solved it is actually in a quater of a turn.
So when you go to move this cube you have to do a
quater of a turn first to make a turn. So what that means
is this cube changes into crazy shapes and is very fun to
play with. This puzzle moves great and looks nice."

Size: edge length 5.7cm, center layer: between 5.3 and 5.5cm
