Puzzle Details

Another puzzle using gears created by Oskar van Deventer. In 2011 it was produced by Mèfferts. From the initial state it needs five complete turns of an edge to finally have a solved cube again. But! The cube can be extended in each of the three dimensions to allow a separate turn of the separated layers (see Gear Shift (5)). This allows many variations. The large gears have eight cogs, the smaller five ones.

Weight: 151g
Size: edge length 6.2cm
