Puzzle Details
Weight: 112g
Size: edge length 5.7cm (standard Rubik Cube size)
This puzzle was originally created by Katsuhiko Okamoto.
He finally found a way to mass-produce this puzzle and it became available for around $20 in October 2008. The mechanism is absolutely perfect and the puzzle twists very nice. The stickers are not the Rubik standard colours, but more modern and fresh, which make the cube look not so much to be of the eighties but from the first century of the 2000's. A nice gimmick is the light green, which is a flourescant colour, glooming a little bit in the dark.
Da Yan Void Magic Cube: 113g/115g
Size: edge length 5.7cm (standard Rubik Cube size)
Also the Da Yan copies of the original design turn very well. The transparent material allows a view onto the mechanics. The version with the green and pink inner pieces is best to see this.
