Puzzle Details
Anthony Greenhill's 3x3x3 modification is perhaps the first one in the row of 3x3x3 puzzles, where outer cubic shape and the mechanism axes are distorted to each other. Compared to some followers as the Axis Cube or the Slice Cube, Greenhill's Cube is tricky in the way that on two sides the cuts run through the shape edges and two of the pieces are equilateral triangles, which can lead to some parity surprises during a solve.
The cube is larger than a standard cube, but still extremely light. So it is very comfortable to handle. The only slight minus is, that although the pieces are of the typical perfectness, the cube mechanism does not allow homogenous moves, but there are some kind of latches maybe caused by the original puzzle used (althogether 8 times on a 360 turn).
