Puzzle Details
Tony Fisher has made two versions of this puzzle. The first one was made from a 4x4x4 Master Cube. The second was made from an Eastsheen 4x4x4 cube and much smaller than the first.
Two other puzzle builders created a 3x3x4:
Jin H Kim put a lot of time into realizing the mechanism and building the 3x3x4 completely by hand from a 3x3x3. Garrett Ong used Jin's puzzle to make his.
It might also be interesting to note that there are 8 additional hidden 3x3 parts inside the mechanism. Each cast part is made from solid Alumilite resin, making it probably twice as heavy as Jin's version. There is very little empty space within the puzzle. The puzzle was molded and cast over the course of a few days, but was not completed until a month or so later once all the finishing work was done.
